Wet Scrubber Systems

For tank cleaning and various projects the Wet Scrubbers are designed for the efficient purification of vapor phase waste streams containing VOC’s, malodors and Acidic/Basic gases. The main parts of the unit consist of a Gas Distributor Plate that also supports the liquid/vapor interface packed bed and a series of Scrubbing Liquid spray nozzles. The spray nozzles, distribute the scrubbing liquid, over the surface of the internal packing, allowing the liquid to evenly flow downward countercurrent to the vapor flow.

• Easily portable
• Accommodates up to 5,000 scfm of vapor flow, with low vapor side differential pressure
• Minimal free liquid carry over through use of a demister section
• Usage will increase useful life of the activated carbon, resulting in lower overall project cost.
• Liquid may be disposed of in your wasterwater treatment plant (depending on composition of the Scrubber Liquid)
• May obtain acceptable emission levels using only the Wet Scrubber (no activated Carbon Box required)

Activated Carbon Adsorption Units

These units are designed for the final purification step of vapor phase waste streams containing VOC’s and malodors prior to release to the atmosphere. The main parts of the unit consist of a Gas Distributor Plate that also supports the Activated Carbon bed.

• Can handle gas flows up to 5,000 scfm for the smaller unit and up to 6700 scfm for the larger unit, with low gas side differential pressure.
• May be used alone or in conjunction with Wet Scrubber System.
• Entire Environmental Services will supply the appropriate Activated Carbon material.
• Wet Scrubber, Carbon Box combination does not require a DEQ air permit to operate.
